Lending Library

The Wayne-Oakland-Macomb Resource Center's Lending Library is a FREE educational resource for you and your children! The Lending Library is designed to encourage and enhance the learning experience at home, school, child care and preschool.

  • Theme based experience bins 

  • Die-cut and laminating machines

  • Books, CD's and curriculum materials

**Are you interested in pursuing a CDA, Associates, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or do you need an Early Childhood Education Class? It’s not too late to register for Winter/Spring 2015 classes!

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® MICHIGAN is a statewide program designed to help child care center teaching staff, preschool teachers, family child care providers, group home owners, center directors, and administrators meet their professional development goals while continuing their current employment in early childhood and school age settings.

T.E.A.CH. Scholarships provide:

• A portion of college tuition for courses leading to an early childhood education degree.

• A portion of the cost for books.

• A release time stipend.

• A travel stipend.

• A bonus upon completion of each scholarship contract.

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® MICHIGAN has updated eligibility requirements for scholarship applicants.

·       WAGE REQUIREMENT INCREASED EFFECTIVE FALL 2014:  Early Childhood professionals working in a licensed program earning $17.00/hour or less may now qualify.

·       ZS ENDORSEMENT OPTION ADDED:  Applicants who currently have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education seeking ZS endorsement may now qualify for a scholarship to complete the required endorsement coursework at a TEACH participating community college.
